Help a library out, please?

So, pretty much everyone who's going to read this has probably already seen the question posted on Stealthy Stories both in my Hang Out Spot and in Self Advertisement/Personal Announcements. But I told Carl that I'd post  the question in a few places, and this is one of them! Utilize your resources and all that! Besides, this is on Public, so maybe someone will see it and respond!

Anyway, the Teen budget at the library where I work got $300 dollars, and, in trying to figure out what to do with it, we realized that--amongst other things--our manga section is seriously lacking. Well, I already knew that. But it seems others didn't. And as I seem to be the only one of the staff that work in Youth Services that actually reads manga, they turned to me for advice.

Problem is, I barely scratch the surface when it comes to manga and anime. Oh sure, I read and watch the stuff, but I'm particular! And while I know what I like, I don't always know what some of the popular or just plain good (but relatively unheard of by the general public) stuff is. So, I turn to the internet, my buddies, and random but more knowledgeable strangers.

So, Recommend! Tell me what manga and anime is popular, is good, or that you just like! Let me know! It would help greatly, and I'll definitely say thank you! (okay, not much of a promise, but come on here. I'm working with limited resources!)

Expect more entries of the like in the future!
